| The company named “Vital Signs” was started in 1997 by Jim Hart to support his wife’s real estate needs and expanded to her friends. Putting up quality wood sign posts and pioneering use of the “Palos Verdes” frame design, his company raised the level of professionalism for displays in the Southbay area. Word of mouth built up the business to over 600 agents. The Harts sold the business to Brennan and Karen Berry in the summer of 2004. Brennan, an 18 year veteran termite inspector saw the opportunity for a fit between the two services. He contacted his old termite and pest control training director Harold Horning with the idea. It became a reality in January of 2005. Once the termite and pest control were added to the sign services, the company grew steadily with many agents happily using Vital Signs Professional Real Estate Services, Inc. for their client’s termite needs. In our first two years, we completed over 300 escrow based jobs. We feel very proud that our agents also choose us for performing work on the agent’s own properties. |
